The Compte Personnel de Formation (CPF) is a French legal scheme allowing every active worker to finance certified training throughout their career. Created in 2015 to replace the DIF, it gives each employee full control over their training budget — no prior employer approval required. Credits are retained even when changing jobs.

Your CPF rights follow you to Lisbon. Worked in France? Your accumulated CPF credits never disappear. Cortisum is a certified organisation based in France, making all our programs 100% CPF-eligible from abroad.
Posted employee
French-law contract maintained
Your French contract remains in force. You continue accumulating €500/year (or €800) and can use your CPF exactly as you would in France.
Expatriate (local contract)
Former French private-sector employee
You no longer accumulate new credits, but all credits earned in France are kept for life and can be used at any time for training delivered by a French organisation.
Job seeker
Receiving France Travail benefits in Europe
During the first 3 months of job seeking abroad, you retain your benefits and can access remote training with the approval of your advisor.
